Shift Backpacking Retreat

Dates: Dates will be announced in January 2020

Location: TBA, Likely in the Kananaskis region of Alberta

This retreat is designed for individuals working in the helping professions (health care, education, law, spiritual care, etc.) who are entering or in the midst of professional transition.

Are you starting a new job or do you want to make the most of a new opportunity? Leaving a position you’ve been in for many years? Have you trained for and worked in a profession that no longer seems to ‘fit’ you? Are you facing retirement or ‘the next step’ without clarity on how to begin? Are you wondering if it’s time to try something new?

Whether you are experiencing 'calling' mixed with uncertainty, an identity-challenging change, or a growing restlessness to act despite an obscured view of the next step, this retreat can help you in the process. We'll use individual reflection exercises and group coaching to provide opportunities for you to seek clarity about the next step and how to navigate transition with purpose and confidence.

The Vocation Retreat

Dates and Location to be determined.

The word “vocation” comes from the Latin word for calling. We believe that the work you do is about more than just a pay check or getting things done. It’s about purpose, mission, and even joy. This retreat invites you to take a few days to remember or, perhaps, discover the meaning in your work.
